Round Rock’s Problem-Solving Plumbing Team

About The Plumbinator

When homeowners need a plumber they can rely on, experience and integrity make all the difference. At The Plumbinator, plumbing isn’t just a service—it’s a family-run commitment to solving problems the right way. Based in Round Rock, Texas, the company has proudly served homeowners across Central Texas since 2009, delivering honest workmanship, advanced diagnostics, and the willingness to take on complex jobs—including water, sewer, and gas leak issues that others may avoid.

From persistent water leaks to damaged sewer lines, hidden sewer leaks, and aging cast iron plumbing systems, The Plumbinator has earned a reputation for handling challenging plumbing problems with precision and transparency. Whether it’s a difficult leak detection job or a failing underground line, customers know they’re working with a team focused on protecting their home and providing long-term solutions.

As a family-owned, woman-led plumbing company, The Plumbinator brings together decades of hands-on experience with a personalized, community-focused approach. Every service—from water and gas leak detection to sewer leak diagnosis and repair—is handled with care, expertise, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.

A Family-Owned Plumbing Company Built on Trust

The Plumbinator was founded in 2009 by Wendy, who transitioned from a successful 15-year career as a museum curator to start a plumbing company built around honesty, reliability, and strong customer relationships. From the beginning, the goal was simple: create a plumbing business where customers receive real solutions, fair pricing, and personal service they can rely on.

What began as a small local plumbing company has grown into a trusted provider for homeowners across Round Rock and surrounding communities including Austin, Georgetown, Hutto, Pflugerville, Leander, Cedar Park, Taylor, and Jarrell.

Despite that growth, the company has stayed true to its roots. The Plumbinator remains a local, family-run operation, where every customer interaction matters and every plumbing problem receives careful attention.

Instead of rushing through appointments or pushing unnecessary upgrades, the team focuses on listening to customers, diagnosing the real issue, and recommending practical solutions that make sense for the home.

Meet Mickey – Master Plumber and Problem Solver

At the center of The Plumbinator’s technical expertise is Mickey, the Master Plumber in charge and a veteran of the plumbing trade with more than 30 years of experience.

Throughout his career, Mickey has worked on nearly every type of plumbing system imaginable, from new residential construction to complicated repairs involving underground pipes, slab leaks, and failing sewer systems. His specialty is water and sewer leak detection, particularly the difficult cases that often leave homeowners frustrated after other plumbers fail to locate the issue.

One of Mickey’s strengths is the ability to visualize plumbing systems in three dimensions. By understanding how pipes run through walls, foundations, and yards, he can often diagnose problems quickly and accurately — even when the source of the issue isn’t immediately visible.

Rather than using destructive methods that tear into floors or foundations unnecessarily, Mickey often uses what he describes as “plumbing keyhole surgery.” This minimally invasive approach focuses on identifying the exact location of a problem and repairing it with as little disruption as possible to the home.

That attention to detail helps homeowners avoid unnecessary damage, reduce repair costs, and get their plumbing systems back to normal faster.

A True Family Business

The Plumbinator isn’t just run by a family — it’s supported by one. When customers call, they often speak directly with Wendy, Mickey, or members of their family who help keep the business running smoothly.

Their sons Tim and Corey, both tradesman plumbers, work in the field helping solve plumbing problems throughout Central Texas. The extended team includes experienced plumbers and office staff who coordinate scheduling, customer communication, and project management to ensure each job is handled efficiently.

Because the business is family-operated, every member of the team takes pride in maintaining the reputation the company has built over the years. Customers aren’t treated like account numbers or quick transactions. Instead, each service call represents an opportunity to help a neighbor and strengthen trust within the community.

The Plumbinator is also proud to operate as a woman-owned and LGBTQIA+ ally business, creating a respectful and welcoming experience for every customer.

SERVICE AREA

Serving Round Rock and Central Texas Since 2009

Over the years, The Plumbinator has built a strong reputation across Central Texas as the go-to plumbing company when issues become complex, persistent, or difficult to diagnose. From advanced leak detection and sewer line repairs to water heater service and cast iron pipe restoration, the team has successfully completed thousands of plumbing projects throughout the region.

Proudly serving Round Rock and surrounding areas—including Austin, Georgetown, Hutto, Pflugerville, Leander, Cedar Park, Taylor, and Jarrell—The Plumbinator understands the specific plumbing challenges common to Central Texas homes. Many older properties still rely on aging cast iron piping, while newer homes often experience problems related to Kitec plumbing systems.

What sets The Plumbinator apart is their practical, cost-conscious approach—especially when it comes to Kitec. Rather than pushing for full system replacements in every situation, the team offers targeted Kitec repairs whenever possible. By sourcing hard-to-find, discontinued fittings and carefully assessing each system, they’re able to resolve leaks and extend the life of existing plumbing without unnecessary replacement costs.

With decades of hands-on experience in local neighborhoods, The Plumbinator delivers accurate diagnostics and reliable solutions designed to keep homes running safely and efficiently.
